After learning I would never get pregnant, I made a career out of helping others manage their grief.

When a heartbreaking miscarriage or stillbirth occurs shortly after a Covid vaccine, it’s easy to make a connection. But the science doesn’t hold up.

We want you to show interest, but because of how painful infertility can be, we still might not want to share.

I didn’t get to hold my husband’s hand before treatments or distract myself with a girls' night out. I never once got to see my nurse’s smile, despite having sat across from her twice a week for a year.

I never imagined a relative having to carry my baby, but we've learned that there's no wrong way to have a family.
